IFCBAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) and IFC have teamed up to present Get It Out There: Comedy by BAM & IFC, a new alternative comedy showcase that encourages comics to experiment and test out new material. Hosted by Jared Logan and featuring comedians Wyatt Cenac, Mike Lawrence, Damien Lemon and Giulia Rozzi, the show will debut Wednesday, April 25 at 9pm at BAMcafe.

The show returns six times throughout the year, on May 30, June 27, September 12, October 3, November 7, and December 5, and IFC will support Get It Out There on air and online via 30-second vignettes and a dedicated microsite, www.ifc.com/get-it-out-there.

“BAM has always had a commitment to showcasing what’s next” says BAM Executive Producer Joseph V. Melillo. “The contemporary alternative comedy scene is highly inventive, genre-bending, and very much in line with our mission of presenting our adventurous audiences with the best in live performance. We’re thrilled to have IFC as our partners as we move into this new creative arena for the institution.”

BAMcafe is located at 30 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn, NY.
