Comedian Joins ‘Daily Show’ as Correspondent

Wyatt Cenac, Photo: Katy WinnWyatt Cenac has joined the award-winning The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a new correspondent with “The Best F*&#ing News Team Ever!”for the historic 2008 presidential election campaign. His first field piece investigates senior voters in Florida and is scheduled to air Wednesday, June 25 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT and will be available online at www.thedailyshow.com and www.indecision2008.com beginning on June 26.

Cenac made his first appearance on the show on June 3, 2008 during which he lamented to Jon Stewart his boredom with the primary season, comparing it to the TV show Lost,  and appeared last night explaining why Barack Obama changed his position on public financing.

The comedian hails from Dallas and has been performing stand up, improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles since its inception in 2005.
