Donald Trump has revealed to readers of the Trump Blog, why he selected comedians Andrew Dice Clay and Tom Green for Celebrity Apprentice, which airs Sunday at 9/8c on NBC.
“I selected Andrew Dice Clay to appear on Celebrity Apprentice because he is edgy, smart and successful — and definitely a heavyweight of comedy,” says Trump. “Long before shows like South Park and comedians like Dave Chappelle came onto the scene, Andrew shocked his audiences and broke the rules with his never-before-seen brand of no apologies hardcore comedy. Clay doesn’t mince words or make excuses.”
“Tom [Green] is a talk show host, writer, director, producer, comedian, survivor — Tom has had a go at many things, and very often wins.”
