Academy award-winning actor-comedian Jamie Foxx returns to Fox as executive-producer of the half-hour sketch comedy series, Jamie Foxx Project (Working Title), which has been picked up by the network and is set to debut in primetime during the 2010-2011 season. Rising actor and sketch-comedy star Affion Crockett (“The Boondocks,” “Dance Flick”) will star in and also serve as a producer.
In the vein of the groundbreaking and network-defining In Living Color, Jamie Foxx Project (working title) will offer a fresh take on pop culture, including spoofs of movie trailers, commercials, TV shows, music videos and celebrities, with a diverse cast made up of young up and coming comedians on the scene today. Additionally, some of the biggest names in Hollywood will be stopping by for a visit.
