The Boston Comedy Festival will present comedy legend Robert Klein with its Lifetime Achievement Award at the stand-up competition finals at the Wilbur Theater on November 13. Rising comedy star and BCF alum Joe Wong will receive the Boston Comedian of the Year Award on November 9 at the Cheers Comedy Club in Boston.
The festival will include performances by national headliners such as Kevin Meaney, Lenny Clarke, Steve Sweeney and Todd Barry, and its highly-anticipated stand-up competition, which will feature 96 comedians from across the country competing for a $10,000 cash prize and bragging rights. This year’s competitors include Wil Sylvince, Chris Korz, Erin Jackson, Nate Bargatze, Nick Cobb, Ophira Eisenberg, Kareem Green, JL Cauvin, Heidi Floss, Lamont Price, Jim Tews, Pat Candaras, M Dickson, Sagar Bhatt, John Baglio and Mike Whitman.
The Boston Comedy Festival will take place November 5-13.
