The Women in Comedy Festival is seeking talented ladies to perform at their annual event. The festival is accepting submissions in the categories of sketch, improvisation, storytelling, workshop instruction, stand-up and musical comedy. Comedians can apply online to submit bio, photo, web links to videos and $25 (early bird deadline: December 7, 2010), $30 (regular deadline: December 21, 2010) or $40 (extended deadline: January 6, 2011) submission fee.
Video length requirements are as follows: Standup : 5-7 minutes; Improv: 15-25 minutes; Sketch: 5-25 minutes; Musical Comedy: 5-25 minutes; and Storytelling: 5-10 minutes
The 3rd annual Women in Comedy Festival will take place March 9 -13, 2011 in Boston, MA. Comedians Morgan Murphy and Jen Kirkman will headline at the festival.
