Comedians Win Daytime Emmys

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the winners of the 38th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards in a live television broadcast on the CBS Television Network from the Las Vegas Hilton on Sunday, June 19.

Comedian Ben Bailey won his second consecutive Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show Host for Cash Cab (Discovery Channel).

The Ellen DeGeneres Show received honors for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment, Outstanding Promotional Announcement – Institutional and Outstanding Special Class Writing. Ellen DeGeneres won trophies as executive producer and writer of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
