Comedy Central Taps Brooke Posch as VP, Original Programming & Development, East Coast

Comedy Central has named Brook Posch as Vice President of Original Programming and Development, East Coast. She will oversee development and production of the network’s east coast-based original pilots and series. Posch previously served as VP of Comedy and Animation at MTV where she oversaw the development of pilots including The Substitute, Epic Fail, and World of Jenks. She also developed a late-night talk show with comedians Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer and a half-hour Latina comedy with Jennifer Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions. Posch, who began her career working for Lorne Michaels on Saturday Night Live, was a writer and producer on May the Best Man Win, which starred Rob Hueble, Rob Riggle, Horatio Sanz and Chris Gemberling, Steven’s Untitled Rock Show, Last Call with Carson Daly and New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly.
